Dr. Nontando Claribel Sarah Ntloko is currently serving as an Obstetrician & Gynaecologists at Life Springs Parkland Hospital in Springs, Gauteng. She successfully graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1991, earning a BSc. Degree in Nursing. Notably, she was the first black individual to be accepted into this prestigious program. In 2003, Dr. Ntloko furthered her education by obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBCHB) from the University of Witwatersrand. To enhance her expertise, she pursued a Fellowship of the College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of South Africa (FCOG.SA) at the College of Medicine in South Africa (CMSA).
The beginning of her journey in women’s health can be traced back to 1992 when she joined Manapo Hospital in the Free State as a midwife. After dedicating herself to midwifery for four years, she decided to transition into the field of medicine. In 2004, she took on the role of a medical intern at Far East Rand Hospital in Springs, Gauteng. The following year, she fulfilled her community service at Pholosong Hospital in Tsakane, Gauteng. Continuing her medical career, she served as a medical officer at Pholosong Hospital in 2006. In 2007, she commenced her specialization in Obstetrics & Gynaecology as a registrar at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto.
Dr. Ntloko specializes in various areas, including abnormal uterine bleeding, chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, infertility, recurrent miscarriage, and genital tract diseases. In addition, she offers screening services for cervical cancer, breast cancer, and general female reproductive health. With a background in midwifery, Dr. Ntloko has a strong passion for maternal and fetal care. Her extensive experience in managing pregnancies and assisting women during childbirth enables her to provide exceptional support and guidance throughout the entire process.
Utilizing a holistic approach, Dr. Ntloko provides patients with fully comprehensive and high-quality care. She places great importance on effective communication and establishing strong patient relationships. Dr. Ntloko takes the time to personally get to know each patient and ensures they are well-informed about the diagnosis and treatment process.
